You need a campaign name, an approved WhatsApp template, an optional audience segment with conditions, field mappings for any template placeholders, and a schedule (send now or schedule for later). Both the name and template are required fields.
Yes. Click Save draft in the campaign builder to save without queuing. You can return to edit and queue it later as long as it stays in draft status.
A campaign can be draft, scheduled, queued, sending, completed, or cancelled. Only draft campaigns can be edited; all other statuses make the builder read-only.
No. Once a campaign moves out of draft status it becomes read-only. A banner in the builder reads: This campaign is [status] and can no longer be edited.
Click the trash icon in the Actions column on the Campaigns list. Delete is available for all statuses except queued or sending. A confirmation reads: Delete [name]? This cannot be undone.
The campaigns list shows Name, Template, Status, Recipients, Sent, Created, and Actions columns.
The report shows four stat tiles at the top: Sent, Delivered, Read, and Failed. Below that is a Recipient outcomes status bar, a Skip reasons panel, a Failure reasons panel, and a Revenue attribution section.
There are three labelled skip reason codes: Opted out, Messaging guard (duplicate/cooldown), and Campaign cancelled.
If you entered a Cost per message in the builder, the report shows an ROI percentage with the note: rough estimate, [X] per message, no live Meta pricing. The Revenue attribution section also shows Attributed orders, Attributed revenue, Avg. days to order, and Est. cost so far.
The attribution window is the number of days after sending during which an order is counted as attributed to the campaign. The default is 7 days. The report note reads: Orders placed within [N] days of send.
Yes. A status dropdown lets you filter by All statuses, Pending, Processing, Sent, Failed, or Skipped. The table is paginated at 25 rows per page with Previous and Next buttons.
The Recipients table shows Phone, Status, Detail, and Sent at columns.
Use the Audience segment section in the campaign builder to add conditions based on Customer fields or Order fields. If no conditions are added, every customer with a phone number minus opt-outs is included.
In the Audience segment section click + Add condition. Each condition has a field selector, an operator selector, and a value input. Remove a condition with the x button on its row.
Yes. When more than one condition is added, Match ALL and Match ANY toggle buttons appear so you can choose whether all conditions must be true or just one.
Click Preview audience size in the campaign builder. It shows a count of matching recipients based on your current conditions, and an estimated cost if you have filled in the Cost per message field.
Field mapping links template placeholders like {{1}} to customer or order fields. The section appears only after a template is selected and placeholders are resolved per recipient when the campaign is queued.
If the selected template has no placeholders and no media header, the field mapping section shows: Selected template has no placeholders to map.
Yes. In the Schedule and sending section choose Schedule for later and a Send at datetime picker appears. Choose Send now to queue it immediately.
Batch size sets how many recipients are sent per batch. The default is 50. You can change it in the Schedule and sending section of the campaign builder.
Marketing templates are throttled by Meta, so a delay prevents send failures. The default is 30 seconds. The hint in the builder reads: Marketing templates are throttled by Meta, keep a delay (default 30s).
It is optional and used only to estimate spend and ROI in the campaign report. WALoops does not look up live Meta pricing; entering a value like 0.80 lets the report show a rough cost and ROI estimate.
There are two primary action buttons: Save draft to save without queuing, and either Save and send now or Save and schedule depending on which schedule type you selected.
The campaign is saved and queued, then the app navigates automatically to that campaign's report page.
The builder shows the error: Campaign name is required.
The builder shows the error: Select a template.
You can build and save the campaign with an unapproved template, but it cannot be queued until Meta approves it. A warning reads: This template isn't approved by Meta yet, you can build the campaign now, but it can't be queued until it's approved.
Click the Refresh button next to the Template field. It re-fetches the template list without leaving the builder.
Yes. Click + New template next to the Template field to open an inline template creation modal. After saving, the new template is auto-selected in the builder.
Campaigns are manually initiated, throttled bulk WhatsApp sends. Automations (Connections) are automatic, event-triggered sends that fire when something happens, such as a new Shopify order.
A number is added automatically when the customer replies STOP, or manually by a team member entering the phone number and an optional note on the Opt-outs page and clicking Add.
The table shows Phone, Source, Note, Opted out (timestamp), and Actions columns. The Source column shows Replied STOP for automatic opt-outs and Manually added for manual ones.
Click the trash icon on that row in the Opt-outs table. A confirmation reads: Opt [phone] back in? Confirming removes the number from the list so it can receive future campaign sends.
Enter the full international format number, for example 919876543210, then add an optional note and click Add.
Yes. Button URL placeholders, for example Button 1 URL {{1}}, are shown separately from body placeholders in the field mapping section of the campaign builder.
