Stripe's own card form appears in the popup and a payment completes without the shopper leaving the page. Tested in Stripe test mode with the official WooCommerce Stripe Gateway.
An incomplete or declined card shows a clear message in the popup, and the shopper can fix the card and try again immediately, with no page reload.
The order is created, then the shopper is sent to PayPal to approve the payment. The same applies to any gateway that redirects off-site.
Cash-on-delivery orders are placed straight from the popup, and shoppers can check out as a guest with just an email.

Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay and cash on delivery work with no setup: card gateways take the card inside the popup, and redirect gateways send the shopper off to pay. If a gateway doesn't behave inside the popup, switch it on under Quick Checkout > Payment Gateways and shoppers finish on your normal WooCommerce checkout, with their address, delivery option and gateway already filled in.
